DESCRIPTION

The 64-bit double scalar and corresponding vector types are optional types that are supported if CL_DEVICE_DOUBLE_FP_CONFIG in the table of allowed values for param_name for clGetDeviceInfo(3clc) for a device is not zero.

The double data type must confirm to the IEEE-754 double precision storage format.
